Can I claim my massage under my insurance coverage?
Yes you can claim your massage for Ontario or Quebec plans. All of our services offered are performed by Registered Massage Therapists. This means that they have received the appropriate education needed to be a Registered Massage Therapist in the province of Ontario. They have also written and performed their practical exams for The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. At any time during your massage they would be happy to provide you with their registration badge.
How do I choose what's right for me?
Our web sites gives a clear explanation on the techniques used in each massage and its benefits, but please feel free to consult with your massage therapist for a more detailed explanation.
What is a in-office (chair) Massage?
Performed in-office, a chair massage is a 10-30 minute massage that focuses on the high tension areas of the neck, back, shoulders, arms & hands. Unlike a traditional Swedish Massage, a Chair Massage is conducted on a specially designed portable massage chair.
Does Corporate Massage Therapy have a 'couples' massage option?
Yes we do, if you wish to be massaged together please let us know and we can accommodate your needs.
How much space is needed to conduct in-office Massage?
Only minimal space requirements are required for in-office massage. The minimum space required is a 5' x 6' area where the therapist can set up their massage chair and have enough room to move around comfortably. Empty offices and boardrooms are usually ideal, although our massage therapists are flexible and can work in most locations depending on the facilities available.
How do I schedule an in-office Massage?
To schedule an in-office massage, contact one of our account managers or email info@corporatemassagetherapy.biz. A representative from Corporate Massage Therapy will respond to your request within one business day, and answer any questions that you might have. What do I wear?
Corporate Massage Therapy works around your comfort level. You may wear as much or as little as you feel comfortable. During a massage you will be completely covered except for your head and the area being massaged. The therapist will leave the room allowing you to cover yourself up on the table.
What should I do if I need to cancel my appointment?
Corporate Massage Therapy does have a 24-hour cancellation policy on all services. Please call us as soon as possible when you are aware that you can't make your appointment. If not you will be charged the full value of the service and/or your Gift Certificate will be void. .
What kind of pressure is applied during a massage?
You can experience gentle relaxation treatments or deep therapeutic treatments. If a therapist is not applying enough pressure or too much pressure, please let them know and they would be happy to adjust the pressure for you.
I feel uncomfortable with a male/female therapist; do I have the option of a male or female therapist?
Corporate Massage Therapy offers both male and female therapist. If a male or female is preferred, just let us know at the time of booking and we can try to accommodate your request.
Do I have to chat with my therapist?
Not at all, you are here to relax and we suggest you take some down time for yourself to absorb the full benefits of your treatment. If you do feel like chatting though, our friendly staff have open hearts and minds and are always ready to listen.
If I have a gift certificate that has expired can I still redeem it for services?
All our gift certificates have a 3-month expiry that may be extended for a fee of $15 per month after the expiry date.
What is paraffin?
Paraffin is a warm wax that is used to increase circulation and improve dry and dehydrated skin. Paraffin goes on warm and quickly dries to form a vacuum on the skins surface. Paraffin is also excellent for Arthritic conditions and Tendonitis. |
